This Privacy Policy explains how InsightHive (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit insighthiveblog.com (the “Site”). If you have questions, email us at hello@insighthiveblog.com.

Information you give us
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you join our email list, we collect your email address (and your first name, if you give it) to send you our free checklist, new guides and occasional updates. Our list is managed by our email provider, Hostinger Reach, which stores and processes this information on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by emailing hello@insighthiveblog.com.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data such as pages visited, time on page, referring website, browser type, device type, approximate location (city or country level) and IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See “Cookies” below.

- To run, secure and improve the Site
- To understand which content is useful, using aggregated analytics

- To send newsletters you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email)

Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that make the Site work, such as remembering your cookie choices.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors use the Site.
- Affiliate cookies set by our affiliate partners when you click an affiliate link, so the merchant can credit us for a purchase.

Affiliate links
InsightHive participates in affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link, you leave our Site and the merchant or network may set cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated sales and click reports, not your payment details.

Other third-party services
- Hosting. The Site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server logs (including IP addresses) to deliver and secure the Site. Hostinger Privacy Policy

- Images. Some images are served from Unsplash’s image servers, which may log your IP address to deliver them.
How long we keep data
We keep contact emails for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings (currently 14 months).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or download your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
- EU/UK visitors (GDPR): we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies and newsletters, and on our legitimate interests to run and secure the Site. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell personal information. Rejecting non-essential cookies in our banner opts you out of cookie-based sharing.

Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use HTTPS encryption, keep our software updated and limit access to data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
